Picture missing I fear?

What pockets do you normally have inside an overcoat?

Lovely coat there Des! What do you mean by ‘this year will be up and down for most tailors’? I thought the bespoke art was at its best at the moment…Thanks

Simon, I will reply, give me a chance!!

In answer to your question though, I think what I have said is pretty straight forward to understand ” I think this year will be tough ”

Why do you think this year will be tough?

If this is due to the ‘recession’ I have read somewhere that the bespoke world would not be affected negatively, as people will from now on want something that will last for a bit longer than a cheaply made designer suit. They would also want to show that they mean business so they would dress appropriately. And if I am not mistaken wasn’t this the case back in the 30’s? I would love to hear your opinion Des.

Simon,As with all trades there are good years and bad years.I do not think this year will be bad, but slow.Do not believe the hype some other tailors pump out, I use the same trimming merchants, cloth merchants, and see the same reps.I believe what they say, sales ARE down on their goods, which means less suits are being made.I will always be steady with existing clients re-ordering, but new clients can be a little more cautious, and finding them in the first place is a little more difficult.
