Man if only I wore the same size as you!!

Are there any lessons you can share from seeing yourself (and, presumably, your clients) make initial decisions that didn’t lead to a new favorite garment? My budget doesn’t allow for spending bespoke prices on a garment I’m not going to wear. Is it better to replace an old favorite with a very similar article, rather then stretch in a new direction?

Keith, good question.As far as clients go, I always ensure I put them into the correct cloth for their requirements which keeps the problem of going off things to a minimum.As for me, because this jacket simply took so long to finish, the initial excitement of the fabric was lost when I finally finished the jacket.It is always sensible to replace a favourite garment with a similar one, as the saying goes if it ain’t broke why fix it?
