Is this a ploy to wrap up the Moscow market? Sounds to be an amazing project, and might be worthwhile in terms of pushing out the state of the art— in your studio as well as industry-wide. But even for a bespoke client, that’s a lot of long green.

There is no ploy, I work with shears and needle all day every day and this suit is simply an option I can give to clients that want a true hand made suit, simple as that.

Yes, it is expensive and it is not for everyone, but if you want a real hand made suit here it is.

For your standard bespoke suits, what are the machine-made steps that can save so much money?

Take a jacket and trouser, any jacket and trouser from any maker, and look closely at it.

Now imagine placing a backstitch by hand on EVERY seam, cloth and lining, at the fitting stages and making stages.

Trust me, the work involved in making such a suit is IMMENSE and I may have even priced it too cheaply.
