Again purely an opinion but I suspect that ultimately Savile Row will die.
Economics are a clear part of but many tailors on the Row from my experience are too haughty for modern clientele and by their words and actions remove much of the pleasure from attending their premises.
Bespoke tailoring will not die and there is a new generation out there - Des being a good example who maintain the craft but in a far less pretentious way.
I have certainly been put off the Row and happily spend my money elsewhere with equal craft and superior service
