can you match the stripe on the shoulders as i had a suit from carl stuarts in yorkshire and its my best but i have moved and would like a tailor who could do the same.

Yes, Robert,Yes, I can match the stripes on shoulders, however, in my opinion, the shoulder always looks forced unnatural.

If and unnatural.If you look on my blog, under 'jacket for America' the heading 'shoulder fullness' on page 9, I show how the shoulder should be made to give the best results, ie the back is 'eased' onto the front.

Hey great job! I am thinking of having my first bespoke suit soon and I am in the process of finding the best tailor.

I was wondering, is the floating canvas inside the jacket held down by the pocket sewing? Or is the canvas just stabilized by sewing it to the edges of the jacket? How does it work?
